In the late 1970s, BMW made bikes that looked like space ships with their Luftmeister fairing. This blog is about the conversion of a space ship into a classic bike: a cool-looking naked bike with spoked wheels, fork gaiters, steel and aluminum. Only BMW parts from different years and models will be used. The new bike will be built to be run, not to sit in a museum.
